The Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) wishes to inform the general public that students’ loan disbursements have begun for both first time applicants and continuing students of the 2013/14 academic year.
Beginning October 2013, loans have been disbursed to over 6,000 tertiary students and continue to be disbursed every week.
The Trust Fund urges all accredited tertiary institutions to submit their school lists to enable disbursement of the loans to beneficiary students.
The Trust Fund announces also, that students loan orientations have been conducted in all Colleges of Education (CoE) across the country.
The Trust Fund is receiving applications from all eligible tertiary students in Ghana.

SLTF is an agency of the Ministry of Education established in December 2005 under the Trustees Incorporated Act of 1962. SLTF operates under Act 820 of 2011 and has since 2006/2007 academic year taken over the management of students loan in Ghana from the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT).
The main objective of the Fund is to provide financial resources and to ensure sound management of the Fund for the benefits of Ghanaian students pursuing accredited tertiary programmes in the country.
