The Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) has stepped its stakeholder engagement lower to cover less endowed Senior High Schools (SHSs), commencing 28th September, 2016, with SHSs in the Eastern Region. The SLTF team is led by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) the Head of Technical & Resource Mobilisation, the Zonal Manager and the PR Manager.
The objective of this engagement is to sensitise the ultimate beneficiaries of the students’ loan, especially on the STUDENTS LOAN PLUS product, which is an innovative product aimed at providing financial support to students who would need it to register as bona fide students, when they gain admission into any of the NAB accredited tertiary institutions in Ghana.
The exercise in the Eastern Region would cover 12 SHSs involving about 5,000 students. The Eastern Region engagement would be followed by the Central Region and replicated throughout the country.
At the end the exercise, it is expected to cover some 50,000 Senior High School students.
