The President, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, has appointed Dr. Saajida Shiraz as the Ag. Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF).
A distinguished expert in political science, public policy, and social justice, Dr. Shiraz brings extensive experience in governance and economic management. She has a strong background in policy development and implementation, making her well-suited for this role.
Dr. Shiraz holds a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master of Philosophy in Political Science from the University of Ghana, along with a Master of Science in Public Policy from University College London.
Throughout her career, she has played a pivotal role in shaping policies that foster inclusivity and economic empowerment. Prior to this appointment, she served as the Director of Programs and Operations at the African Center for Governance and Economic Management. She is also a graduate of the African Women’s Development Fund Feminist Leadership and Coaching Program, a MILEAD Fellow, and an Associate Fellow of the Royal Commonwealth Society.
